WEEK ONE
May 8 – Mon – Go over syllabus and website. Start chapter 2 up to case studies. Take First Quiz (5 points).
May 9 – Tue – Go over quiz answers. Continue chapter 2 up to survey method - Alfred Kinsey.
May 10 – Wed – Finish chapter 2. Start chapter 3 up to urethral opening, vaginal opening, hymen.
May 11 – Thu – Continue up to what happens in the ovaries and uterus during the menstrual cycle.

WEEK TWO
May 15 – Mon –Drop / Refund Deadline (11:59pm) QUIZ over Sex Research (Chap 2),
and continue up to areola of breast (8:00am section),
and continue up to hysterectomy (10:00am section).
May 16 – Tue – Demonstration of MindTap Quiz Taking.
Finish chapter 3 (10:00am section)
and start chapter 4 up to cryptorchidism (8:00am section)
May 17 – Wed – continue up to prostate cancer (8:00am section)
continue up to testicular cancer (10:00am section)
May 18 – Thu – DEADLINE for taking MindTap Chapter 3 Test.
Continue up to how aging affects the female sexual response cycle (8:00am section)
Continue up to myotonia and vasocongestion (10:00am section)

WEEK THREE
May 22 – Mon – EXAM over Sex Research (Chap 2) and Females (Chap 3) Finish chapter 6 (sexual response)
and start chapter 5 (gender) up to...
definitions of sex and gender, masculine and feminine (10:00am)
chromosomes of egg and sperm (8:00am)
[NOTE: Expect 10 questions from chapter 2 and 30 questions from chapter 3 = 40 questions total]
[additional note - 10 of the chapter 3 questions will involve naming female body parts shown in drawings]
[I also hope to bring in model breasts for practicing feeling for breast lumps]
May 23 – Tue – Continue up to intersex conditions including 5-alpha-reductase deficiency (8:00am and 10:00am)
May 24 – Wed – Continue up to transsexual and transgender individuals (10:00am)
and cultures with additional genders (8:00am)
May 25 – Thu – Finish gender chapter (chapter 5), and start STD chapter (chapter 15)
up to herpes lesions (8:00am) latent syphilis (10:00am)

WEEK FOUR
May 29 – Mon – MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY – NO CLASSES

May 30 – Tue – Continue up to AIDS medications (10am) and end of STD chapter (8am)
May 31 – Wed – Start chapter 10 (contraception) up to condoms (10am) and diaphragms (8am)
June 1 – Thu – EXAM over Males (Chap 4) and Sexual Response Cycle (Chap 6) and continue up to IUD failure rates.
[NOTE: 15 exam questions will be from chapter 6 (sexual response) & 25 questions will be from chapter 4 (males)
10 of the 25 questions from the male chapter will have pictures of male anatomy to identify]

WEEK FIVE
June 5 – Mon – Finish contraception chapter (10). Start pregnancy chapter (11) up to statistics about infertility.
June 6 – Tue – Continue up to infertility treatments, adoption, pregnancy test, dating pregnancy based on last period.
June 7 – Wed – Continue up to pregnancy conditions that should cause couples to avoid sex (10am) and development from zygote through embryo and fetus during three trimesters of pregnancy (8am)
June 8 – Thu – EXAM over Gender (Chap 5) and STDs/STIs (Chap 15) and continue up to childbirth alternatives.
(NOTE: Exam = 40 questions: 20 questions from chapter 5 and 20 questions from chapter 15).
June 9 - Fri - WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE (11:59pm)

WEEK SIX
June 12 – Mon – Continue up to end of pregnancy chapter.
